A good game.
Capping is very important in domination matches. It is among the most important tasks for a Destroyer captain. It also yields a lot of XP. I respect that and strive to always be a good team player. But in an outgunned Japanese DD, you need to pick your battles and sometimes prioritize your own survival - even if your team mates tell you otherwise.
In this battle, I come second behind a lower-tier German DD and earn no capping points. Still I'd say it went rather well. "Kiting" is a valid tactic that can help goad your opponents to their doom.
Admittedly, my immediate opponents at Point A seem less experienced. That and maybe they did not coordinate well. Both the Karlsruhe and Duguay-Trouin have hydro; the French cruiser also has a catapult fighter. These consumables could have helped them spot my torpedoes in time and not blunder into them like this.
