DESCRIPTION
Monster game in the 'bama.
Basically, I win the C cap almost alone against 4, then swing to B to prop up the defenses as most other enemies sweep A and push into us.
Opening salvo: 63k on a Hawke, Dev Strike + First Blood. Too bad for our Yudachi, who had good torps on her.
I'm advised against pushing alone, but it's only a half-hp Skane and two cruisers, so the hell with it. The DD tries to ambush me, I guess: kill #2, but I'm eating pens by Zara and Tiger '59. I push anyway and sink the Italian (Dev Strike #2), then pause a bit against an island to heal before going in again. Finally I attack, weather the radar and AP, and get kill #4 (and Dev Strike #3).
The team is getting decimated despite my efforts, so I head South and secure a kiting Chapayev (with my slow-ass shells). Vlad is pushing, so I sort of flank her in support of our Duncan. We sink her, but the Mogador that's been harassing me escapes on less than 1k, while we turn our attention to Iowa, Jean Bart and de Witt. Duncan goes down, Minnesota sinks one and rams the other.
We're down to a healthy de Witt vs me (very low); we're ahead on points but they have 2 caps vs 1 and enough time to overtake us. Mogador is somewhere in the distance. I head into B to turn it, but they could still sink me if they coordinate spotting and airstrikes, or if either of them just gets lucky while trading salvoes. Fortunately, the de Witt appears broadside past the island, I tee it up and it's kill #6, enough to win it on the spot, before even entering B.
